Your impact

We’re seeking Civil and Environmental Engineering Interns with an interest in Water Engineering to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for both local and global clients.

As a Water Engineering Intern work would include development and application of environmental and water analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for stormwater, water quality retrofits, and other water projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water planning activities.

This role will also include...

• Assist project engineers with open channel flow analysis and basic hydraulic calculations for irrigation systems.
• Support preparation of design documents, including drawings, plans, and specifications under supervision.
• Help compile cost estimates and quantity take-offs for irrigation infrastructure projects.
• Perform data collection, organize technical information, and assist with hydraulic modeling tasks.
• Contribute to quality checks and document reviews to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Provide general project support, including coordination with team members and maintaining project files.

Here's what you'll need

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or another closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm
• Relevant coursework or projects

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

40,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

60,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
