ASML’s Diagnostics and Reliability Engineering team improve system performance through data-driven insights. You will have the chance to contribute to our team's efforts by utilizing the System Diagnostics Tool (SDT) to monitor system behavior during reliability testing. A key focus will be on analyzing diagnostics files, which contain data to identify trends, parameter shifts, and early failures.
The SDT is a critical asset for capturing high-resolution diagnostic and metrology data during system operation and reliability testing. The diagnostics files generated by SDT provide a source of time-series data that, when properly analyzed, can reveal subtle changes in system performance and health. By leveraging this data, you will help enhance our ability to detect early signs of failure, improve test coverage, and support data-driven reliability improvements. This is a bachelor or master internship for a minimum of 6 months, 4–5 days per week (4 days onsite). The internship is not suitable for a thesis. The start date of this internship is around January/February/March 2026.
Other requirements you need to meet:
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
