Become a part of our dynamic team as an intern and develop hands-on expertise in applying advanced sample preparation techniques. This exceptional opportunity will involve working on ground breaking Broad Ion Beam Milling systems and Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs).

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of Application Scientist to explore the application of Broad Ion Beam Milling for Materials Science.
• Conduct extensive testing to define optimal milling parameters (geometry, time, beam energy) for a wide range of materials.
• Evaluation of the milling results using SEM and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD).
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex scientific challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to determine customer requirements and deliver high-quality data.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in surface characterization.
• Experience in Electron Microscopy is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
• Eager and driven to learn and contribute to innovative research projects.
