The Monetization Client team from TikTok Ads Core is responsible for delivering innovative ads products on TikTok, including content ads, new ads formats, vertical solutions, creator monetization business account, ads experiences etc. Working closely with product team, our mission is to build the window letting advertisers promote their products on TikTok, and to build the bridge that can deeply connects advertisers and TikTok users. Therefore, besides supporting the innovative features on monetization, ensuring the user experience in TikTok is also our priority. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. Responsibilities: 1. Assist backend, frontend, and product teams in developing and launching innovative ad features on the TikTok app. 2. Contribute to creating an engaging mobile ads experience by collaborating with design and product teams. 3. Help design, implement, and optimize monetization features for iOS/Android applications, with a focus on performance. 4. Write clean, maintainable code and help create clear documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 5. Work closely with senior engineers, learn best practices, and contribute to the team’s goals.
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 2. Basic experience or strong interest in mobile app development (Android and/or iOS). 3. Familiarity with object-oriented programming and software system design. 4. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java/Kotlin (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS). 5. Willingness to learn and understand large codebases. 6. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team, with a curiosity for new technologies and problem-solving. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Interest in building consumer-facing or ads products. 2. Solid knowledge of Android architecture refactoring or iOS performance optimization. 3. A desire to learn and improve client-side performance and user experience.
