The student, as part of the digitalization team, and under the guidance of senior team members, will undertake projects related to digitalization and AI.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Automation and Data Pipelines: Design and implement automation solutions to streamline data ingestion, processing, and analysis, leveraging tools like Python, SQL, and data pipelines.
- Advanced Data Analysis and Modeling: Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze complex manufacturing data, identify trends, predict outcomes, and optimize processes under the guidance of senior team members.
- Data Visualization and Insights: Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends in manufacturing data, driving data-driven decision-making and process improvements.
- Emerging AI Research and Development: Support the development of AI models and algorithms under the guidance of senior team members as well as participate in AI model evaluation & validation, AI model training & testing to ensure accuracy.
Internship Learning Outcomes:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science and AI initiatives.
- Enhance data analysis, modeling, and visualization skills.
- Understanding of AI model development, testing, and validation.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, or Java.
- Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
