Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Automation Development: Create automation software for system validation tests using Python
• Script Development: Develop scripts for lab instrument control and automated report generation
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system or test-related software issues
• Team Support: Provide training and support for other team members in Python automation
• Reliability Testing: Support Python automation for reliability test equipment in the lab
• Lab Equipment Integration: Operate lab instruments such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators, and integrate these with instrument control systems

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Education: BSEE with 2+ years of experience or MSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or LabVIEW for instrument control, with experience in C or C++ programming
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical circuits and analog devices is beneficial
• Lab Skills: Proficient in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers for testing and debugging
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective teamwork and knowledge sharing

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $29.00 per hour

Maximum of $35.00 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
