Job Description Summary

As a Treasury Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in cash management, trade, finance, financial risk management, treasury operations, capital markets and corporate finance while working on meaningful strategic projects to support our businesses.

You’ll also develop leadership, communication and analytical skills as well as a deep understanding of global markets and banking. The program begins with an orientation where you will receive an overview of the Treasury organization and meet key members of the team. Following this orientation, you will be placed into a specific Treasury department or group for your internship.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Get to know, understand and deliver Treasury administration processes
  • Access management (requests, token management)
  • First level pre-check of payment processing and confirmation (initiation, proof of payment)
  • Trade Finance operations support
  • Support self-audit process
  • Participate in payment process related testing
  • Data provision for reporting (periodical and ad hoc)
  • Work closely with payment associates/ analysts and advanced analysts
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by team leader

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field,
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and corporate finance concepts (baking background would be an asset).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data,
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; familiarity with financial systems is a plus,
  • Basic knowledge of cash management, trade finance, and payment processing
  • Familiarity with data reporting and audit support processes is a plus,
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,
  • Interest in global markets, banking, and treasury operations,
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
