We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Service department at Sartorius Turkey. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining, servicing, and repairing equipment in our bioprocess portfolio such as such as purification, filtration, fluid management and fermentation technologies at our customer’s sites in Turkey.
The role is field based, attending at customers site 3-4 days a week within Turkey. You are ideally living in Istanbul or nearby.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
- On a daily basis you will be responsible for providing service and customer support during field and in house visits
- You will carry out the validation and commissioning of equipment in our bioprocess solutions portfolio at our customers’ sites
- Installation, qualification, maintenance and repair of our systems in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry
- You will produce timely and detailed service reports, test reports, issue certificate of analysis for equipment in a timely manner
- Follow company’s procedures and policies as well as ISO, MS, GMP standards on customer sites
- You will work closely with technical team in Germany and UK and share information across the organization and solve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with the sales department in order to enable new opportunities
- Do you enjoy building relationship with customers? You will improve customer satisfaction; help maximise customer retention whilst providing excellent customer service
What will convince us
- Technical Education in electronics, mechatronics or related discipline would be ideal
- You may have experience servicing, repairing, calibrating, maintaining electrical or automated (robotic) equipment (bioreactor) or laboratory equipment in a regulated environment, however training will be provided
- You may have field service experience working in the pharmaceutical, biological, or chemical industry following GMP or ISO standards in a similar role though candidates from other industries will also be considered (manufacturing, electronics etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, calibrate and service technical equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Ability to work flexibly and efficiently and to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
- Willingness to travel within Turkey and EU
- Strong customer service skills and great communication skills in English
- Full – driving license
