Job Description

• Innovation: You enhance optical QR code scan of incoming CDIPs / SBGAs using a camera system
• Get the overview: You implement the dashboarding for large databases by API programming
• Reliable work: You support your colleagues in sampling activities, maintaining and updating the microcontroller configurations depending on the need
• Keep up to date: You tune our wiki-based documentation for automated measurements system with textual and graphical content

Your Profile

• Study field: You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar
• Skills: You ideally have scripting / programming skills (‘Python’ is our default language
• Beneficial skills:
  • Data Analysis: You possess basic knowledge in statistics
  • Embedded coding: You have knowledge on 32-bit Microcontroller (e.g. ARM)
  • Knowledge: You have basic knowledge regarding measurements and instruments as well as knowledge on automation
• Personality: You consider yourself a team player with the desire to work in an international team
• Way of working: You are an analytical mind with a high degree of self-initiative, you work very structured, accurately as well as reliably
• Availability: You would like to support us for at least 6 months as a working student with 20 hours per week, or even for more hours during the semester break
• Language skills: You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

• Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
• You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
