The Group Investment Office oversees the management of the invested assets of SCOR Group. It aims at

providing investment services to the Group, as well as financial analysis and controlling. It is composed of the

following teams:

  • Investment Business Analytics;
  • Investment Records and Accounting;
  • Investment Planning & Analysis;
  • Investment Risk and Controls.

The Investment Business Analytics team’s mission is to:

  • Centralize financial and non-financial analytics acquisition, management and controls on investments for all SCOR stakeholders. It is in charge of managing, developing and maintaining the source of investment data and analytics which is used across the Group for all types of reports related to investments.
  • Lead the Group Investment Office projects all along their lifecycle from the design to their roll out on the scope of the Investment chain, i.e. from Position Keeping activities to Investment Accounting, including Risk and Performance reporting.
  • Organize the production and corrective maintenance of legacy systems while ensuring the relevance and consistency of the functional architecture.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Data Intern to join our team. This internship offers a good opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in data management and reporting analysis.

Key duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Manage the investment data quality including performing ad-hoc analysis and proposing the solution on the matters
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish and maintain data feeds for investment reports
  • Participate to the development of dashboard and analytical reports on investments data
  • Explore and recommend new and pragmatic solutions to improve existing data and control processes
  • Participate to business analysis phases, design and implement solutions according to SCOR agile method

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field at a top-tier business school, engineering school, or university, and completing an end-of-study internship.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and open mindset.
  • Have a solid understanding of financial instruments.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or a programming language is a plus.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
