Position Overview

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Field Sales Engineer to drive business development and sales growth for our automotive business segment. The ideal candidate will possess 5–10 years of proven sales experience in the automotive tier1 account and hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE). This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic sales acumen, and strong relationship management skills to expand our footprint in the automotive electronics market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales activities for automotive account, ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets.
  • Build, nurture, and expand long-term relationships with key stakeholders at Automotive Tier 1 accounts
  • Collaborate with internal technical, product, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and account development initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in automotive technology, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customer’s engineering and procurement teams.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value for both Analog Devices and automotive tier1.
  • Provide regular feedback to product development and management teams based on customer insights and market dynamics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, reporting, and CRM systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a closely related field.
  • 5–10 years of successful sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with Tier 1s or OEMs.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of automotive systems, components, and electronics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, contracts, and documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Skills

  • Existing relationships within major Korean automotive tier1.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
  • Knowledge of automotive electronics, semiconductors, and emerging vehicle technologies.
  • Fluency in Korean and English.
