Main Purpose of the Job:

Lead project execution and coordinate contribution of all stakeholders (from project brief until agreed sustained performance is achieved) by managing a cross-functional team whose objective is to oversee the capital investments relating to the company's fixed assets. This involves the relocation and optimizing of the existing fixed asset base and/or the purchase of new fixed assets. It must extend from the initial conceptual studies through to project closeout.

A Day in the life of an Engineering Project Manager:

  • Fulfill the Vertical Project Brief. Review project objectives and aligns them with organizational goals.
  • Organize project execution at the site to ensure activities meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Mobilize internal and external resources and coordinate with teams to secure necessary personnel and materials.
  • Trigger alerts to the steering committee to keep them updated on project progress and issues.
  • Develop and evaluate team members and provide guidance to enhance skills and performance.
  • Coach the project team and foster a collaborative environment for team success.
  • Control project communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed. This includes managing interactions outside of Nestlé.
  • Ensure registration of new assets and removal of old ones. Maintain accurate records and compliance with policies.
  • Strictly abide by the WHO and Local Code in the execution of his/her job in its letter and spirit. Will be prohibited from making any direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children in their business capacity.

Are you a fit?

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical/ Mechanical/Mechatronics with 3-4 years of experience in the field of project management where projects were defined and budgeted, assessed and implemented (entire project lifecycle)
  • Ability to coordinate the efforts of people; engage, align and mobilize stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of Costing Guidelines and Finance & Accounting principles
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
