We have an opportunity for an Internship for Electrical Engineering Student to join our Honeywell Aerospace team in Krakow.

As a part of our Advanced & Applied Technology team, you will play an integral role in the development of innovative technologies in the Aerospace segment, allowing you to gain experience in an exciting industry niche. It is a great enabler to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges working on real-world projects in the Electrical and Power Electronics area by designing, developing components and sub-systems integration, leading discussions between different disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanics, Software in the multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

Candidate will work in Advanced Technology team focused on sustainable aerospace technologies using hydrogen for aircraft propulsion and electrification particularly contributing to:

• Design and modeling of electrical / electronic engineering assemblies, layout / schematics and detailed drawings for low and high voltage applications (28 VDC up to 1000 VDC),
• Cable and wire harnesses detail and assembly drawings for power distribution systems, sensors, digital controllers, etc.,
• Choosing appropriate connectors, wires, terminals and other components based on voltage, current and other specifications,
• Coordinating the components procurement and assembly of electrical / electronic equipment,
• Performing necessary calculation for protection sizing to ensure safe and reliable operation,
• Performing simulations and verification tests on designed circuits (PSpice or similar),
• Tests cases development, execution and results documentation to create concise and professional output.

Qualifications

• ngoing student in the field of Electrical Engineering or related,
• Detail oriented,
• Analytical and organizational skills,
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills,
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with ability to operate in the international team,
• Good English languages skill with ability to participate in technical discussions.
