We are looking for an Administrative Assistant II in the Administrative Services division of the North Dakota State Penitentiary (NDSP) in Bismarck, ND. Summary of Work

Responsible to verify daily count for all adult DOCR facilities, processing grievances, schedule resident court hearings, answer the main North Dakota State Penitentiary telephone line, quality assurance, input and maintain tool changes in Macola System, data entry into Elite, upload documents in FileNet, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duties and Tasks

Data Collection and Entry:

Gather data for various job tasks, from various sources (email, reports, documents), accurately input data into systems, and verify data accuracy through quality checks.

General Duties:

Schedule court hearings

Answer main telephone line at NDSP

Scan, upload, and disseminate documents

Record retention for NDSP

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree with emphasis in office related functions or customer service and one-year experience; or high school diploma (or GED) and/or two years of agency or similar experience. Additional experience or training in general accounting practices would be beneficial.
