West Central Human Service Center – Bismarck, ND – HIM Admin Assistant

As a Health Information Management (HIM) Admin Assistant, you will be a part of the administrative team that flexes between multi-dimensional tasks ranging from customer service to file management, form and report preparation. Every day, you will process requests for releases of information, file records electronically, and other office duties as assigned. You'll complete data entry and conduct data verification. You'll prepare office forms and reports, as well as maintain office records and library materials. You will be responsible for the HIM processes at the West Central Human Service Center.

To thrive in this position, you must be a dedicated and detail-oriented individual. Skills using Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word are preferred. Experience navigating electronic health records preferred is preferred.

To be considered for this position, you must have associates degree with emphasis in business, office related functions or customer service and two years’ experience in same fields; Or a high school diploma (or GED) plus four years of experience in appropriate functions. A bachelor's degree in a business-related field may substitute for required work experience.

ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to work in office during regular business hours.
