Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Circuit Design and PCB Development: Design analog and digital circuits of moderate complexity under senior guidance. Select suitable components and create production-ready schematics and layouts using Altium Designer
  • Prototyping and Hardware Integration: Build and bring up hardware prototypes. Assist in integrating hardware with embedded systems and support iterative development cycles
  • Testing, Debugging, and Validation: Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for diagnostics. Conduct functional and reliability tests, resolve hardware issues systematically, and document results
  • Documentation and Process Compliance: Maintain accurate technical documentation (schematics, layouts, BOMs). Adhere to established workflows and contribute to process improvements
  • Teamwork, Responsibility, and Commitment: Collaborate with firmware/software teams, engage in meetings and reviews, and show strong ownership, reliability, and initiative in supporting shared project goals

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in embedded hardware design (via internships, academic work, or entry-level roles).
  • Solid knowledge of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals.
  • Proficient in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout (no other tools used).
  • Comfortable using lab and measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and committed to delivering quality work on time.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work constructively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
