We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and customer service. You will be part of a dynamic and growing Services team, playing a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our equipment at customer sites.

You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting the installation of upgrades on Tetra Pak equipment. You will also act as a technical advisor and ambassador for Tetra Pak, helping to maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation.

This position is based in the south region of Chile.

Tetra Pak does not offer work visa sponsorship or relocation support for this position.

What you will do

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance;
  • Execute maintenance activities according to Tetra Pak’s global standards;
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions;
  • Prepare technical reports and document service activities;
  • Install and configure equipment upgrades and ensure proper reintegration into production;
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding service status and issues;
  • Identify and report business opportunities at customer sites;
  • Train customer operators and technicians, and support knowledge sharing within the team;
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally, maintaining strong relationships with customers.

We believe you have

  • A technical or university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field;
  • Experience in the food industry, including equipment installation and mechanical maintenance;
  • Knowledge of food processing or packaging equipment;
  • Intermediate to advanced English skills;
  • Availability to travel and support customers across the Southern Cone region;
  • A valid driver’s license;
  • Skills in mechanics, electricity, and automation are a plus;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
