An Entry-Level Electrical Engineer position is currently available with Belcan in Windsor, CT. This position requires in-office support, but a hybrid schedule can be considered for exceptional candidates. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least a bachelor"s degree in electrical engineering and between 0 and 3 years of experience in industry. In this role you will use your degree to support an industry leading aerospace company to ensure the long-term sustainability of critical aerospace systems through component obsolescence management. Job duties:

• Identify and qualify alternate components for obsolete or end-of-life parts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to implement component changes.
• Utilize tools such as SiliconExpert, IHS, or Octopart to track obsolescence risks and source alternatives.
• Maintain and update component databases and BOMs using PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Support risk assessments and mitigation planning for long-term product sustainment.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to client stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline
• 0-3 years of electrical engineering experience
• Solid understanding of electronic components and their specifications.
• Ability to interpret datasheets and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.

Desired Qualifications:

• Internship or co-op experience in electronics, aerospace, or lifecycle engineering.
• Demonstrated electrical design engineering experience
• Familiarity with PLM and ECAD tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Windchill).
• Exposure to obsolescence management tools and databases.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $65,000 to $85,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
