Job Description

Schnucks’ Intern Program is an immersive corporate internship based at our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Interns gain real-world experience in their designated department, and collaborate on a cross-functional, inter-disciplinary group project during the summer.

This is a paid internship that requires full-time attendance during the summer and part-time attendance during the school year.

This role has a hybrid schedule and candidates must reside in St Louis, Missouri in order to be considered for this role.

The 2025/2026 Data Analytics Internship offers a unique experience by exposing interns to virtually every area within our Analytics department (data mining, segmentation, tactical enablement and monitoring, and ad-hoc strategic support). Our department has a peer/team oriented environment with several dedicated mentors. This structure will afford you the opportunity to work with other students from several other business programs in the Saint Louis area. This exposure provides interns with invaluable practical work experience and will fast-track your professional business career!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with advanced data mining, modeling and analysis.
  • Assist in different data work streams including store and shopper segmentation, forecasting, automation, and tactical enablement.
  • Develop skills in state-of-the-art data mining tools like Alteryx, visualization tools such as Tableau and DOMO, and advanced analytics in Google BigQuery. Exposure to Circana (IRI) or Nielsen and other industry relevant tools.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Learn valuable workplace skills in a real-world environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required Education: Fall 2025/Spring 2026 enrollment in a Master’s Degree program (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics, and completed at least 30 credit hours.
  • Available to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 school years and full-time during Summer 2026.
  • Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Programming language knowledge including R, Python, and SQL.
  • Proficient in Google and Microsoft applications.
  • Motivated to learn and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
