About the Team

Our Engineering team work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The team consists of experienced and dedicated engineers, specialising across both systems and software engineering. The team is currently completing innovative work on our landmark project – LAND 400 Ph2; the delivery of the Boxer vehicle to the Commonwealth of Australia.

About the Role

The Integration Engineer will work as an integral part of the engineering team, utilising their software and systems engineering skillset to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that customer needs and requirements are met. The successful candidate will lean on their experience in similar roles within an ASFDEFON framework to ensure timely delivery of all contracted deliverables.

The Integration Engineer will have an exciting and important role within the program, engaging with multiple facets of our business to recommend solutions and lead the construction of prototypes. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience developing and maintaining support documents including plans, requirements, design documentation and test reports.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mechatronics, Aerospace or equivalent;
• Knowledge of Systems and Software Engineering Lifecycles;
• Strong understanding of Verification and Validation (V&V) including test conductance and issues management;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
