Position Description:
Builds Cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures, including containers and serverless architectures. Designs, develops, and implements software application components according to Agile methodologies using Python, PL/SQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Identify Access Management (IAM), Networking, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CloudFormation. Implements software development pipelines according to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies using Git, Stash, uDeloy, and Jenkins. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and supporting securities finance applications -- fully paid lending, securities lending, and securities borrowing.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and supporting securities finance applications -- fully paid lending, securities lending, and securities borrowing.
