About Team:

PICO is a leading VR/AR platform with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, focusing on VR all-in-one technology. PICO is committed to offering immersive and interactive VR experiences to our customers, including providing tailor-made solutions for our enterprise clients in the fields of education and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and prototype development of MR/AR optical modules or core component.

2. Integrate optical module technologies, coordinate with core-component, display, mechanical, process, testing, and quality teams to solve technical challenges.

3. As optical module lead, guiding the project team from proof of concept to NPI phase, ensuring delivery of optical modules.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Optics.
• At least 3 years of work experience, including experience with mass production projects.
• Familiarity with product development processes.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, execute efficiently, and communicate effectively across teams to drive technical problem-solving.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following simulation tools:
• Optics: Zemax, Lumerical, RSoft, LightTools
• Structure: Creo, SolidWorks
• Thermal: Flotherm
• Mechanics: Abaqus, Ansys

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in AR/VR hardware development.
• Familiarity with data analysis methods such as deep learning and statistical machine learning.
• Expertise in prescription lens solutions for XR (extended reality) systems.
