Position: Certified Nursing Assistant

Schedule: 7 am -7 pm, 2 days a week

Location: Medical Surgical Unit, Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC

About the unit: Come join a 30 bed med surg with diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
• Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
