The City of Raleigh Information Technology Department seeks an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to join the ERP Operational Support team, dedicated to supporting and improving Oracle’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Financials systems. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems integrate key business functions—such as finance, human resources, and procurement—into a unified platform that streamlines operations and boosts efficiency across the organization.
Our mature on-premise PeopleSoft system runs version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.56, supporting over two dozen modules and more than thirty interfaces. The City has successfully implemented several upgrades, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. While strong PeopleSoft development experience is essential for supporting our current environment, we are also seeking a candidate with the adaptability, strategic mindset, and technical skills to support the implementation and transition to a future ERP platform.
About You:
As a key member of our ERP team, you will analyze requirements, design solutions, develop customizations, and configure PeopleSoft and related applications to meet business needs. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, bringing strong technical, analytical, and communication skills. While a PMP certification is not required, solid project management skills and the ability to lead small projects are essential.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or directly related field and two years of experience related to assignment

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
