This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
The Enterprise Payments Banking Technology team is growing and seeking a Systems Engineer II to join us. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support to data processing systems. Analyzes existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures that improve processing capabilities. Assists the installation of programs and procedures developed in coordination with end user groups. Enhances data processing systems and procedures through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application software programming
Preferred Area of Experience: up to 4 years' experience with the following:
o Systems Design: Broad knowledge of design elements and capabilities of IT systems.
o Micro Services and system integration Architecture
o Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#); ASP.NET Core; JavaScript; HTML 5; XML; SQL Scripting and Powershell Scripting
o Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server
o Java 11 or 17
o Build tools, Ant, Gradle, Openshift and Azure DevOps
o Java and Spring framework and Spring boot technologies, JPA, Hibernate, Azure DevOps; SQL Scripting
o Knowledge of BI or Enterprise Reporting Frameworks
o Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
o Proven ability to resolve conflicting situations, to move process and people forward.
o In depth knowledge and experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

The base pay for this position is generally between $109,000 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
