Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

The Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide accurate and complete reports. The candidate will be responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and data architecture mainly focusing on RHN’s RCM and Provider relations. This individual will use data and insightful analyses to support, inform, and where applicable, channel decisions to help hone and serve RHN’s revenue cycle goals. The role involves improving reporting efficiency, producing standard periodic reports, and responding to data requests by determining users' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and implement methods for improving reporting efficiency.
  • Produce standard periodic reports to meet users' needs.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data to measure and report on provider and program performance.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments in healthcare.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and help develop tools for collecting, organizing, and analyzing information.
  • Create reports for internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders.
  • Visualize data with graphs, infographics, and other methods.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information.
  • Define, design and create reporting solutions to deliver accurate and actionable insights.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, Tableau and other sources to analyze performance drivers and provide regular visibility and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI and Tableau to visualize existing reporting using key metrics into trailblazing dashboards to improve reporting processes and foster self-managed reporting by stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or other related fields OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in a hospital or managed care environment with a focus on claims data analysis, provider contracting, or decision support, especially in cost and utilization analysis.
  • A working knowledge of industry coding (revenue codes, ICD 9 classifications, CPT codes, etc.).
  • Proficiency in statistical methods, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
