Virtual Reality Program Manager needs to be a skilled visionary to lead the design, implementation, and management of VR/AR-based rehabilitation programs across all rehabilitation care settings. This role bridges technology, clinical care, and project management to transform patient recovery experiences using immersive, evidence-based VR/AR solutions.
Responsibilities:
Program Development & Management
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of VR/AR rehabilitation initiatives with the Director of the Center for Innovation.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate VR into physical, occupational, and other therapeutic environments as indicated.
- Manage partnerships with VR/AR vendors and technology providers and developers.
- Establish presence at national and local conferences from speaking engagements and representation for demonstration purposes utilizing subject matter experts and other affiliates associated with the program.
- Working with senior leadership, create a go-to-market strategy to market products both nationally and internationally.
- Manage a dashboard, in conjunction with vendors, to track sales, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Clinical Integration
- Coordinate pilot programs and scale VR/AR therapies across multiple clinical departments.
- Train rehabilitation staff on proper use and safety of VR systems.
- Coordinate subject matter experts to assist in developing applications for use in a rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor outcomes and adjust protocols based on patient data and clinician feedback and utilization.
Project Management
- Develop project timelines, budgets, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy.
- Prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders and funding agencies.
- Manage updates, customer feedback, and retention of existing customers utilizing marketing strategies and other resources as needed
- Ensure the quality of the product is maintained by using customer/clinician feedback with assistance from the vendor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Biomedical Engineering) required; Master’s/Doctoral degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or healthcare marketing required
- Ability to work with and manage a team as needed to coordinate and promote a finished product
- Familiarity with VR/AR technologies and their potential application in therapeutic or medical settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of the Brooks System of care and learning health system preferred
- Experience with clinical software systems and data analytics tools a plus
- Certification in project management preferred
Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Onsite with some travel required
