About our group:

Our team is focused on mechanical process development at the Seagate Korat Slider Factory. We are seeking a driven and innovative engineer to lead the development of next-gen dicing process — specifically in tooling, machine design and wheel development. Our mission is to transform dicing process, enabling high-efficiency, high-precision, and future-ready solutions that align with next-generation product roadmaps.

About the role - you will:

• Take ownership of next-gen dicing solutions, focusing customized tooling and machine design for new product integration.
• Design and develop next-gen dicing wheels customized to align with the unique properties of specific materials. Design, develop, and validate automated systems and mechanical tooling that support high-precision, high-throughput manufacturing processes.
• Lead the development of dicing transformation projects from concept through proof-of-concept and final deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify bottlenecks, and optimize end-to-end material flow processes.
• Lead risk assessments, feasibility studies, and pilot trials to ensure technical robustness and process scalability. Manage project execution, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and adoption.

About you:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Material, or a related field).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge in automation, tooling design, and process integration.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills. ฃ
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally across development, production, and equipment engineering teams.
• Strong project management skills and accountability in driving tasks to closure under fast-paced timelines.
• Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge of process development and integration in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with advanced material properties and their applications.
• Proficiency in CAD design or simulation tools and basic automation control systems is an added advantage.
