We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes’ luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Our two campuses are among the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, with over 6 million square feet combined.

Essential Functions:

  • TPM Conversion to digital - Assessment: Review current paper check sheets to identify data fields and processes.
  • Configuration: Set up SAP modules to accommodate TPM check sheet data, including necessary customizations.
  • Data Migration: Transfer existing data from paper check sheets to SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Testing and Validation: Perform thorough testing of the SAP setup to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of the new process for future reference and training.
  • Paint Quality digital input, analysis and escalation model.
  • Work with production teams to analyze current documentation methods and develop a method using existing or new digital tools to document, feedback and trend quality defects found in the paint process.

List other regular daily tasks:

  • Fill in for Process Engineer when they take vacation
  • Support in other work packages that needs access to the TPMs

Qualifikationen

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:

  • Familiarity with SAP, Igintion, programming
  • Skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Skills in analyzing and organizing data

Preferred Start Date:

  • September 2025

Benefits:

  • Paid Internship - hourly rate $18
  • Coverage of visa costs
  • $700 monthly housing stipend

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree
  • Studies outside of the U.S.A
  • A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months
