ECS is seeking a mid level DevOps Engineer with a Top Secret clearance to serve on a mission-critical program for the Department of Justice. In this role you will be responsible for providing engineering support to our team, leveraging your knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud computing, and security engineering to ensure the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a team member for DevOps practices, cloud computing, and security engineering, providing support to the team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, including automation frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and containerization.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of security concepts, including firewalls, encryption, identity management, and hardening, and ensure that all systems and applications meet or exceed security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and maintenance, including development, quality assurance, and operations teams.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to the team, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides, best practices, and knowledge bases.
