ECS is seeking a highly experienced and skilled DevOps Engineer with a Top Secret clearance to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one of our mission-critical programs for the Department of Justice. As a SME, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical guidance and support to our team, leveraging your deep knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud computing, and security engineering to ensure the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DevOps practices, cloud computing, and security engineering, providing expert-level technical guidance and support to the team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, including automation frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and containerization.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of security concepts, including firewalls, encryption, identity management, and hardening, and ensure that all systems and applications meet or exceed security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and maintenance, including development, quality assurance, and operations teams.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to the team, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides, best practices, and knowledge bases.
