As a Blade Features Engineer specializing in Add-ons, you´ll drive the design and development of sophisticated components like aerodynamic gadgets to improve wind turbine efficiency and reliability. Your role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including planning, technical design, and risk management, while collaborating with multi-functional teams and partners to ensure that new technologies align with product requirements and continuous improvement goals
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Be responsible for the Blade Add-ons roadmap for new technology developments, ensuring alignment and integration by collaborating with blade designers, process engineers, aerodynamics specialists, and suppliers.
- Lead technical risk management initiatives, including FMEA analysis and structural verification, while establishing design standards for flawless integration into products.
- Drive innovation by conceptualizing new technologies that improve the Blade Features area.
- Optimize product development through a value chain approach, collaborating effectively across various interfaces.
- Develop a keen understanding of design drivers and adopt a structured approach to push the boundaries of technology.
- Lead projects with both internal and external partners, encouraging strong communication and collaboration throughout the process.

- Hold a Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics Engineering, Wind Energy, or a related field.
- Possess a technical and analytical approach with a strong dedication to advancing expertise in failure mode modeling and component design integration.
- Proactively run tasks to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
- Exhibit an outgoing personality, growing on engagement with stakeholders across various organizational levels.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills as a collaborative team player, effectively driving successful outcomes in multidisciplinary projects.
- Maintain fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to clearly convey results; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus, and you excel at managing multiple assignments while maintaining a structured approach.
