Commercial/Financial Project Manager

With focus on our business in Turkey and Central Asia, we are looking for a Commercial (Financial) Project Manager within the Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry Business Area. You will be responsible for financial project planning and execution in close cooperation with project manager.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supports the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care
• You have full responsibility for all commercial/finance-related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, guarantees
• Ensures accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and mitigation activities.
• Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g., SAP.
• Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the project financials
• You ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Identifies, minimizes non-conformance costs, and establishes an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.
• Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing
• Commercial support during Sales Phase
• Assisting Controlling and Reporting related tasks, i.e. for forecasting and budgeting
• Account receivables & payables management

What You Bring

• You hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent based on experience
• You can boast at least 2 years of relevant experience as commercial project manager
• Well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and SAP
• Ability to work and connect in a remote team
• English and Turkish language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills, team player,
• Customer, result and quality orientation and motivation, as well as personal initiative
