QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified candidate to coordinate a senior project workstream, ensuring effective collaboration among all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities – Project:

  • Oversee the management of project timelines and scope changes through formal change control processes.
  • Take full responsibility for project outputs by managing all aspects of the project or service.
  • Implement and adhere to communication plans, regularly presenting project or service status updates to management.
  • Support and direct the project team to ensure project success, maintaining close collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Document and report on project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with multifunctional partners and possess the ability to implement necessary changes.

Key Responsibilities – Controlling:

  • Prepare and revise the budget, providing necessary inputs and outputs in coordination with the Country Leadership team and the APE/S Regional controlling team.
  • Actively steer business operations by continually monitoring performance against monthly and yearly targets to empower local management in making informed decisions.
  • Plan, report, forecast, and control the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and market performance, including all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure timely and compliant data submissions in line with the Group’s standards, utilizing relevant reporting tools, and conducting quality checks on reports.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely forecasts and budget processes.
  • Implement and evaluate new concepts and tools, including state-of-the-art forecasting methods.
  • Contribute to process optimization, automation, and the development of standard internal processes and reports.
  • Serve as an active business partner, providing specialized ad-hoc support and project assistance specific to your area of expertise.
  • Monitor and challenge compliance topics, ensuring regular checks and an up-to-date process documentation, while promoting organizational awareness of compliance.
  • Act as the controlling contact for internal auditors, ensuring timely deliverables and supporting audit processes by providing necessary accounting information when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in business administration or controlling.
  • A finance background with practical experience in a controlling or accounting function, preferably in a multinational environment (CPA certification is preferred).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A continuous improvement (CI) mindset.
  • High affinity for Business Intelligence systems, ERP, and process landscapes (knowledge of SAP and Power BI is preferred).
  • A solid understanding of global controlling standards and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and high process management capabilities.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to manage complexity and communicate effectively as a team player.
  • Proven ability to plan, align, and drive results.

Experience with legal entity processes is necessary, while familiarity with legal entity setup is preferred.
