The Payroll Specialist prepares the Bi-Weekly multi-state payroll information by entering payroll data to the Workday payroll system. This position processing payroll for Non-Resident Alien employees, as well as student employees. Responsible for balancing payroll runs, producing required reports for various departments. Responsible for uploading outside payroll data, such as parking fees, into the Workday System. Accountable for answering questions and requirements about payroll information. May audit records on vacation, sick leave, etc. This position reports to the Payroll Manager.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
