We have an opportunity for a Mech Project Engr II - Material Handling Systems to join our Project Engineering team in Brno. Our team’s work involves the planning, configuring and execution of conveyor system projects for large distribution centers.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates and verifies layout, performs calculations (e.g to compute angles, weights, dimensions, etc) structural drawings, schematics and equipment orders as applicable to the project
  • Plans equipment layout, material flow, and measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of resources and equipment on projects as assigned
  • Leads partially or fully project technical execution, uses experience to expertly mentor multiple individuals
  • Helps with developing of procedures and standards, works with other engineering fields in the development and application of material handling equipment and solutions

Qualifications

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Min. 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • English skill level B2 or higher
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with layouts creation
  • Material handling or related experience
