Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure products comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, safety requirements, and environmental requirements throughout their entire lifecycle (design, production, sales, etc.).

2. Lead domestic and international product certifications (e.g., CCC, CE, UL, TÜV) and coordinate third-party testing agencies to complete required tests.

3. Monitor policies, regulations (e.g., China’s new energy vehicle regulations, EU REACH/CE, U.S. UL standards), and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) in the global new energy sector.

4. Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on product design, production, testing, and export, providing compliance recommendations.

5. Participate in product design reviews to ensure technical solutions meet safety, environmental, and energy efficiency requirements (e.g., battery safety GB 38031, electric construction machinery GB/T 44257).

6. Review material selection and production processes to avoid restricted substances (e.g., RoHS hazardous material restrictions).

7. Prepare technical documentation (e.g., product specifications, Declaration of Conformity) to meet certification requirements.

8. Address non-conformities identified during audits or testing, driving corrective actions with technical teams.

9. Identify compliance risks in product development and develop mitigation strategies.

10. Collaborate with R&D, legal, and marketing teams to ensure full lifecycle compliance.

11. Conduct regular compliance training to enhance team awareness of regulations.

Skills Required

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2. 6+ years of experience in new energy product development or compliance.

3. Familiarity with new energy technologies (e.g., batteries, motors, power electronics, charging products) and related supply chains.

4. Strong knowledge of key regulations (e.g., EU Battery Regulation, EV battery & charging safety standards, CE, UL).

5. Understanding of global certification systems (e.g., UN 38.3 battery transport certification, ISO 26262 functional safety).

6. Fluent in English (able to handle international standards documentation); strong communication and teamwork skills.

7. Preferred: Hands-on experience in new energy product development, validation, or compliance.
