Job Description

Working in the Global Service Delivery Office in the Engineering Maintenance Group.

This role is the technical lead on global Reliability Engineering for Maintenance Service projects, setting the technical standard. The role consults with customers on their reliability and compliance challenges and maintenance systems and processes, proposing approaches to improve them and, together with our global team, deliver the solutions.

  • Providing strategic level services to customers.
  • Lead a global team of Reliability Engineers.
  • Main technical expert, guiding multidisciplinary teams in the execution of complex projects that improve Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) of critical assets.

Reliability Engineering:

  • Develop and lead, or facilitate and providing consultation in, the implementation of the asset reliability vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with client business objectives and ISO 55000 standard.
  • Develop policies and procedures that help achieve the desired reliability standards
  • Provide expert technical guidance in the application of reliability methodologies, including Reliability Analysis: Performing root cause analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA), fault tree analysis (FTA), Weibull analysis.
  • Maintenance Engineering (equipment such as centrifugal pumps, rotation equipment, instrumentation, etc.
  • Develop Maintenance Philosophies & Strategies, consistent with a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach.
  • Lead development of Asset Registers, hierarchies & classifications from source data
  • Lead preparation and conduct Criticality Analysis studies.
  • Lead construction of planned maintenance program.
  • Lead workload smoothing, alignment and forecasts.
  • Technical consulting in reliability and maintenance engineering.
  • Engaging and Influencing key stakeholders from client leadership teams to technicians.
  • Develop proposals to address client reliability challenges, including method of work statements.
  • Support colleagues in the delivery of wider scope projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or master's in engineering (mechanical preferred).
  • Recognized engineering qualification or extensive practical maintenance experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading maintenance and reliability projects.
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • CMRP certified (preferred)

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Application of reliability methodologies including prioritization, RCM, FMEA/FMECA, RCA, reliability statistical analysis (including Weibull).
  • Maintenance Management practices and systems, in asset intensive and high hazard industry sectors.
  • Developing asset registers, maintenance strategies and planned maintenance routines.
  • Maintenance Management Systems.

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:

  • Inventory Optimization.
  • Condition Based Maintenance.
  • Risk Based Inspection.
  • ISO 14224 and ISO 55000 series knowledge a plus.
