The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and intellectually curious. Most importantly, they will be a collaborator and partner who will help to support the General Accounting Division.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis duties for this position include but are not limited to:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n The program management of the CPC & Vendor Services, and Tax Reporting sections. The role ensures that all assigned sections have effective internal controls and adhere to state regulations.�\r\n Interfacing with other departments, divisions, and agencies such as the State Treasurer’s Office (STO) for ACH set-up and agencies for vendor requests, 1099 reporting, CPC and feedback.�\r\n Reporting operations to the Division Deputy Directors and Director. CPC & Vendor Services.\r\n Managing and overseeing of statewide Corporate Purchasing Card (CPC) and Vendor Services functions (GAD CPC & Vendor Services). The Corporate Card Program oversight includes global administration of all agency issued cards (7,000+), internal control evaluation including field reviews, rebate maximization and reporting. The coordination and oversight of the Vendor Services function includes oversight of the administration of the statewide vendor table, Certificate of Good Standing processing, and communications with vendors & agencies. Operations Reporting & Administration.\r\n Managing and overseeing of CPC, Vendor Services and Tax Reporting department reporting, Federal IRS reporting, and GAD internal administrative items and functions. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing IRS tax liens and the coordination of the federal liability offset activity, IRS 1099 form processing and IRS backup withholding.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:�Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field�from an accredited college or university.\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience:�Five or more years of experience in�Business, Accounting, Finance or related field and management or supervisory experience can be used to�substitute for a degree.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be\r\nrequired to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by\r\na foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained\r\noutside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course\r\nevaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalence evaluating members\r\nidentified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.\r\n\r\n
