Job Title: Entry Level Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing team on a 12 to 18-month project aimed at improving and redeveloping manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your resume while working with experienced senior process engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to determine optimal equipment layout.
  • Develop new manufacturing processes and fixture designs using AutoCAD 2D and 3D, as well as SolidWorks.
  • Participate in equipment installation and facility layout planning.
  • Utilize life-size models and scaled cardboard models to visualize equipment placement.
  • Engage in regular meetings and brainstorming sessions with the advanced engineering team.
  • Contribute to process development and improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Industrial Engineering (BSIE).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies, holding at least a Yellow Belt certification.
  • Strong background in equipment and facility layout, fixture design, and process development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Green Belt certification in Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Experience with bill of materials.
  • A strong internship in process engineering or a couple of years of relevant experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Must be local to Colorado with ability to be onsite in Pueblo 100% of the time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
