What is an Academic Preparation & Achievement Teaching Assistant?
APA TAs at the University of Kentucky are individuals who care deeply about students. APA TAs, under the direction of the Associate Director for TL and Assistant Director for APA, support instruction and operations of the Academic Orientation courses (UK 101/201) and/or the Rebound Program courses (UK 105/205). APA TAs are expected to assist in developing curriculum, deliver instruction, engage students in positive classroom management strategies, give timely feedback, and support the growth and development of students.
What are the APA TA Responsibilities?
All successful candidates must be available in August for training.
