Technical Business Administration | Industrial Engineering internship: decision-making and benefit management

ASML

Introduction

Within the Global Manufacturing team, the Safety, Quality, and Operational Excellence is a small group of dedicated professionals who focus on ASML's key process: Product Generation Process (PGP). We collaborate closely with colleagues from all factories in the competence center. Together, we aim to enhance our processes, ensuring the successful introduction of new products in the factories. Our goal is to achieve a higher level of industrialization and improved manufacturability in a shorter timeframe.

Your Assignment

This assignment involves developing a decision-making model for our new product introductions in manufacturing. This model will demonstrate the impact of late industrialization deliverables and low quality on decision-making. The model should be applicable in specific factories, cross-factory, and even cross-sector within the business line. The main tasks include:

  • Familiarize yourself with our previous products and decision-making;
  • Analyze previous projects and make learnings for the future;
  • Define a decision-making model including benefit management;
  • Present your findings and incorporate feedback.
