MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.

Description

The overall purpose of this position is to provide technical support to our OE Customers by researching and tracking catalog errors and working with Mobis Korea HQ Technical team to provide corrections. Candidate would keep Mobis Korea HQ Technical Team accountable for corrections related to parts technical information and catalog systems, including not bot limited to Electronic Parts Catalog, Online Parts Catalog, OE Dealer Information Network MOBIS Parts America Operating System (AMOS). The objective is to provide the most accurate information available by providing updates and user-friendly design in order or promote customer satisfaction and increased sales of Genuine OE Parts & Accessories to wholesalers and independent repair facilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Research catalog issues reported by Call Center, Region and DPSM. Communicate with MOBIS HQ Technical Team for resolution 30%
  • Track MOBIS HQ Technical Team responses and hold Mobis HQ Accountable to ensure accurate and timely updates of parts information to all catalog databases. Extract data from various databases for comparison and improvement 30%
  • Provide overall support to Parts Technical Group regards to MSDS, EX Number, Stock Inspections and Parts master Maintenance 20%
  • Support Parts Technical Call Center by responding to technical inquires 10%
  • Perform special projects and ancillary duties as requested by Management 10%

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Support OEMs to allow them to provide accurate information to their dealers
  • Coordinate with Parts, Service, Dealer, and MOBIS staff to identify and correct all parts catalog data errors to ensure accurate dealer orders and satisfied customersEnsure data consistency among all catalog types
  • Communicate and coordinate with related vendors to ensure projects/updates are completed as specified and within budget
  • Coordinate with MOBIS HQ to facilitate resolution to various catalog date, product quality and mixed inventory issues as needed
  • Implement continuous improvements to Kia and Hyundai EPCs in order to provide OE community with the latest concepts in information technology
  • Manage and administer parts information segment of the Kia / Hyundai Dealer Information Network
  • Administer FTP updates to vendors
  • Pro-actively review online information options, which will allow MPA to implement continuous improvements and provide cutting-edge technology to dealers and customers alike
  • Author and publish parts information change notices and coordinate the related updates to dealers, regions, and internal staff
  • Direct communication with MOBIS regarding various parts information errors, improvements, or issues
  • Develop reporting / tracking processes to monitor performance in catalog production schedule
  • Collect and publish Hazardous Material Safety Data sheets
  • Extract data for research and analysis for improvement.

MAJOR CHALLENGES AND KEY DECISIONS

  • Expected to maintain a pro-active vision towards the catalog process by reviewing all catalog data frequently, communicating with dealers and MOBIS staff members to improve the electronic parts cataloging process.
  • Employee will manage/administer all catalog database sources to ensure that the most accurate information is available to OE customers.All sources must be consistent in design, content, and functionality.
  • It will be up to the Parts Information Analyst to research, discover, inform, and correct any parts catalog system.
  • A challenge will be to think o new ways to help OEMs be successful in their business.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Knowledge to include ( Word/Excel/Power Point/ Visio/Outlook/Access)

  • Ability to extra data from various data and analysis a must
  • Demonstrated experience in parts information analysis and catalog production processes preferred
  • 2-3 years of parts catalog production and/or parts information review a plus

Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $54,363.95 - 80,186.83, depending on experience and qualifications.
