About the team
As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets. Through our carefully designed rotation program, you'll witness how high-quality data is meticulously crafted and used.
As an LLM Training Operation team, you will help train and refine AI models by generating high-quality responses to diverse prompts, evaluating model performance and identify areas for improvement. Your insights will directly enhance AI capabilities, break through limitations and contribute cutting-edge advancements in machine learning. If you're analytical, detail-oriented and passionate about shaping the future of AI, this role is for you.
Your Role Will Involve:
1. You will meticulously follow project requirements and complete assigned tasks according to established workflows and procedures. Active participation in team discussions will be key, where you'll contribute meaningfully while maintaining focus on objectives. As you progress, you'll develop prioritization skills for your workload and learn to manage basic scheduling with guidance. A critical aspect of your role involves conducting self-quality checks and maintaining clear, professional communication with team members.
2. you'll collect and prepare datasets following defined procedures, performing foundational analysis of structured data using standard tools. This includes identifying clear patterns, creating basic visualizations using approved templates, and communicating insights while documenting processes and seeking clarification when needed.
3. You will build expertise in evaluation domains by systematically applying rubrics and rating scales to produce high-quality annotations. Through regular calibration exercises, you'll ensure your judgments align with team standards while identifying nuanced model issues like hallucinations, biases, and misleading responses—backed by documented evidence. Your feedback will be actionable, featuring clear rationales and constructive improvement recommendations. The role requires demonstrating logical reasoning in discussions, articulating contributing factors and root causes in communications tailored to different stakeholders. You'll probe beyond surface-level explanations to investigate underlying mechanisms and variable relationships, ensuring thorough and insightful analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
2. Demonstrate exceptional English proficiency, with advanced writing and analytical evaluation abilities.
3. Possess robust communication and problem-solving skills, capable of clearly explaining and interpreting mathematical concepts.
4. Exhibit sound independent judgment while thriving in collaborative, deadline-driven project settings.
5. Show genuine enthusiasm for large language models (LLMs) and computational thinking, with the adaptability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in competitive mathematics such as Mathematical Olympiad at regional or international level.
2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to design, manage and optimize complex workflows.
3. Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) for seamless collaboration with internal and external Mandarin-speaking teams.
4. Experience in RLHF annotation and working with leading AI/LLM companies on technical projects.
5. Passionate about LLM technologies, human behavior and user experience with a keen interest in analyzing diverse case studies.
6. Self-motivated, intellectually curious professionals who thrive in mentoring junior team members while maintaining rigorous analytical standards.
