Are you passionate about extrusion technology, hands-on problem solving, and optimizing manufacturing processes? NOV is seeking a skilled Senior Development Engineer to join our Extrusion Process Team. You'll play a critical role in driving technical improvements across global production sites and see your ideas brought to life in world-class subsea flexible pipe systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the extrusion processes — from setting machine parameters to process development.
• Solve production issues through root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support and influence the selection and setup of machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical expertise in equipment commissioning and ongoing process improvements.
• Collaborate across geographies and departments to ensure effective knowledge transfer and project execution.
• Support two production sites (Denmark & Brazil); travel expected 1–2 times/year.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering fields
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with proven extrusion process expertise
• Strong understanding of machine operation and process stability
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Danish and/or Portuguese
• Experience in continuous production (e.g., pipe or tape extrusion)
• Methodical and hands-on approach to problem-solving and documentation
