Job Title:

Process Engineer

Summary:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for the engineering support for new product introduction, new material introduction and also new process introduction for Rayong plant.

This position will report to Process Engineering

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the manufacturing productivity improvement process
  • Cooperate for the implementation of Management of Change process.
  • Support for the introduction of new materials, products, and processes in close co-operation with technology team in Japan, US and Europe.
  • Initiate, prioritize, implement and measuring the effectiveness of improvement projects for EHS, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basis.
  • Actively support teams to find a root causes of all non-conforming products and corrective actions.
  • As part of Production team supporting day to day manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with contractors, suppliers, services provider and vendors for the production support.
  • Enhance own contributions to the business base on skills development, personal involvement, and the willingness to diversify in present position.
  • Commensurate with experience, prepare and deliver technical training to engineers and technicians.
  • Improvement the skill and knowledge for operations e.g. the fundamentals of products, processes and manufacturing systems to a high degree of competency.
  • Demonstrate an excellent level of personal involvement and awareness in all Environmental, Health & Safety matters.
  • Reviewing the production cost structure and ensure the cost effectiveness.
  • Participate to Management Systems ISO14001and OHSAS 18001 with implementation process and support Quality Management Systems.
  • Engage and comply with EHS Element Owner.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
  • 5-7 years experienced in Production or Process Engineer
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Must have a level of proficiency with computer literacy.
  • Safety & Quality mindset
  • Experience from an international company, manufacturing chemical industries will be an advantage.
  • Project Management skill
  • Effective communication & presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in maintenance and reliability would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of maintenance workflow, rotating equipment, and pressure systems.
