Job Description: We are looking for an experienced IT Desktop Support Team Lead to oversee our desktop support team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a commitment to providing excellent support to our technicians and users.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the desktop support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Help technicians with their ticket queue.
- Provide advanced technical support for desktops and laptops.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Coordinate and prioritize support requests and projects.
- Develop and implement desktop support policies and procedures.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Monitor and report on team performance and service metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and operating systems and Microsoft 365 products.
- Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
