Now is your chance to join our talented team that delivers a differentiated menu and experience to guests across the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-impact training content that supports the manager and team member journey, from orientation to individual role development to supporting New Restaurant Openings (NROs). Your work will ensure every Brew Crew member understands how to execute at Gold Standard levels.
  • Write, design, and produce engaging materials including SOPs, facilitator guides, playbooks, reference cards, how-to visuals, signage, digital content, eLearning modules, and instructional videos. Content must be operationally accurate, easy to apply in real time, and aligned with BJ’s branding.
  • Own the training content lifecycle—from creative conception, scripting, and storyboarding to filming, editing, and delivering polished video, photo, or graphic-based training assets. You’ll manage both quick-turn projects and long-term curriculum development.
  • Be the content point-person for the Operations Training Managers (OTMs)—fielding content needs, sharing updates, and ensuring the tools you create align with what’s happening in our restaurants. You’ll be their go-to partner for roll-out material, testing material, and other customized content.
  • Lead training deliverables for all operational initiatives, rollouts, and tests. Act as the training team’s representative in cross-functional meetings, translating strategy into scalable learning tools that drive behavior change and consistency in execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various RSC departments to ensure training content is accurate, brand-aligned, and reflects real-time operational needs.
  • Ensure relevance and accuracy by conducting regular audits, incorporating restaurant and guest feedback (NPS, 3Ge), and updating content in sync with menu changes, technology upgrades, or process enhancements.
  • Conduct in-restaurant validation and learning assessments to gauge content effectiveness, identify gaps, and continuously improve how and what we teach.
  • Leverage content creation tools and platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet, while partnering with Talent Development to add to our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Champion modern learning methods by incorporating microlearning, video-first storytelling, interactive quizzes, and spaced learning techniques that align with how today’s team members consume and retain information.
  • Balance creativity and project management. Set clear timelines, manage multiple projects at once, and communicate progress and expectations to key stakeholders—delivering every asset on time and ready for rollout.
