SUMMARY:
The Content Architect will report directly into the Senior Content Director in the Digital Center of Excellence. The Content Architect is the strategic and content process expert who ensures from briefing to creation to distribution that content is utilized and optimized to meet exponential growth expectations of the e-commerce channel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Key partner to both brand & e-commerce in utilizing & distributing content and assets exponentially across multiple digital channels to drive the business and deliver ROI.
- Expert in how content can be utilized and distributed across multiple platforms, in service both to brands and e-commerce.
- Creates high functioning content engines that drive conversion by building playbooks, understanding and evaluating return on multiple distribution points
- Collaborates with brand and e-commerce stakeholders to define content requirements, incorporating learnings & best practices from prior seasons
- Assists brand marketing teams in briefing and mapping successful creation to distribution of content from concept to final consumer touch points
- Works closely with Marketing Operations and Project Management to ensure accountability and that all content needs are mapped, tracked and delivered upon to meet critical deadlines
- Understands magnitude and complications of creative asset development & digital deployment activities and helps solve roadblocks (e.g., implement workback calendar)
- Works together with the brands on their GTM calendar, advise on successful campaign rollout and how to best utilize the tools from e-comm and in shared services
- Advises on best practices for influencer marketing programs, contests, sweepstakes, loyalty, product/marketing storytelling, and more. Works directly with the community leads on best processes and practices to build return.
- Integrates content strategies with email, social, SEO, influencer, PR and more
- Connects directly with marketing operations & DAM/Creative Tech management to improve workflow for brands and help tech work for us
- Reviews and publishes our success stories, best practices
- Continuously refines best practices and content needs based on insights and learnings from prior campaigns
- Reporting responsibilities – overview how content budgets are being budgeted and spent at brand and e-commerce level
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- 5+ Years of content marketing experience as a creative, or marketing e-commerce professional
- 5+ E-commerce / CRM experience
- Apparel industry marketing specialist for minimum 2 years
- Influencer marketing / athlete marketing experience
- Go to market strategic experience
- Strategic Content distribution expert
- Action Sports passion or experience
- Expertise in evaluation, return on investment reporting, content reporting
- Knowledge of DAM and Content Management Systems and relation to workflow of content
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to translate insights to action
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
- Process management experience, especially if related to content creation and digital activation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, relationship builder, positive attitude
- Strong problem solver, resourceful
