Job Description

Our purpose [of Seminaries and Institutes of Religion, S&I] is to help youth and young adults understand and rely on the teachings and Atonement of Jesus Christ, qualify for the blessings of the temple; prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven. Live: We live the gospel of Jesus Christ and strive for the companionship of the Spirit. Our conduct and relationships are exemplary in the home, in the classroom, and in the community. We continually seek to improve our performance, knowledge, attitude, and character. Teach: We teach students the doctrines and principles of the gospel as found in the scriptures and the words of the prophets. These doctrines and principles are taught in a way that leads to understanding and edification. We help students fulfill their role in the learning process and prepare them to teach the gospel to others. Administer: We administer our programs and resources appropriately. Our efforts assist parents in their responsibility to strengthen their families. We work closely with priesthood leaders as we invite students to participate and as we provide a spiritual environment where students can associate with one another and learn together.

This S&I entry level Intern position provides valuable hands-on experience with reviewing registration and enrollment data, providing projects and reports. The intern would gain practical skills and insights, while also benefiting from career mentorship from experienced managers in the division, fostering professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support through email, chat, support software, and virtual meetings.
  • Learn how to use Seminary & Institute software and systems used to track work.
  • Communicate effectively with users in the field, product managers, and report findings to the Enrollment Services Manager.
  • Generating reports on enrollment data and contribute to a more efficient workflow with data collection.
  • Help Schedule, plan, create, and keep track of joint CES events
  • help with creating trainings and presentations relating to enrollment services
  • Maintain professional work habits. (Answer emails, be present in meetings, etc.)l are also expected.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within the past year.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Quick learner of software applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are a must as this position
  • Team player.
  • Understand how to use remote work tools, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc.
